If anyone's wondering the 'this is a robbery' quote is from Blow Your Own Sail (Season 9 Episode 6 I think) and the myth they're testing is Hollywood sound effects. Just in case you wanted to know. I remember watching that episode when it originally aired, I was 9 at my cousin's house, and Mythbusters was the only "Adult" show we could watch, and that timing was awesome. I've had to bite my tongue so many times at work and life for thinking this, and not saying it to higher ups. ...and the phrase about writing it down, yeah I though it was funny until my first midnight lab report Freshman year of college... then I'm cursing it... but it's awesome, couldn't be more true. I remember, yeeeeears back now, seeing a Youtube reviewer watching Dungeon Master (I think it was TheSpoonyOne), and commenting on it being the birthplace of your most famous quote.
Personally, I agree that "Well there's your problem!" was a nice, simple way to get me to busy a gut, and I have to admit, it's become a part of my humour.

I think the context of the line was that Adam had just given some estimated percentage chances of certain events happening, but they didn't add up to 100%. This was pointed out (by a member of production crew I think), and Adam went back over his percentages, got confused / irritated at being wrong, and then said the line.

i bought an "i reject your reality and substitute my own" mug from zazzle (2:1 aspect ratio for the perfect quantity of hot caffeinated beverage, printed on both sides for ambidextrous use) when i was in a relationship with a narcissist as a way of flipping them the bird without inciting a ragestorm. i got tf out of the relationship like 6 yrs ago but still love the mug. :}

I'll never forget the night, something like 12 years ago, when I watched The Dungeonmaster in a friend's basement. We were just in the habit of watching bad cult movies, and I had NO idea the "reject your reality" line was coming. I was out of sorts for the rest of the evening.
I've definitely used the "Difference between science and screwing around..." and "Well THERE'S your problem!" lines in conversation many times over the years. Another one I've used a couple times is "That knocked the doorknob right out of his FACE!" but that one's a little harder to find an occasion for.

The only real question about the Discovery cut is why did they keep any of it? Surely they could have nabbed the 1 or 2 seconds somewhere else and it sounds like the end result would have looked like someone cut to commercials early. (I wouldn't have seen it since i watched from Australia)
